The Process with Your Online Nutrition Coach

Phase 1: Assessment

In the first phase of your coaching, you will complete an assessment  for you and your nutrition coach to understand where you are now. What is your diet like? Where are your biomarkers, like energy levels, sleep, mood, and stress? Because we know, weight loss is not just nutrition!

In this phase, we also discuss what your specific goals are, how you’ve attempted to achieve them in the past, and why those strategies were not successful.

Phase 2: Build the Foundation

Secondly, we will work on developing the foundation. We will identify any gaps in nutrition, skills, mindset, etc. We will create an action plan specific to you, along with small actionable items to start incorporating.

This phase may include behavior-based coaching and/or macronutrient-based coaching (carbs, protein, fat). It is important to note we start small here…consistency with tiny habits is underrated!

Phase 3: Create Change, See Results

After determining the tiny goals, we start practicing them! This is where the change starts happening. This change may or may not be measured by the scale (PSA: the scale doesn’t always tell the whole story!).

We will also focus on the biomarkers listed above-energy levels, sleep, mood, and stress. This is the exciting phase where you reap the benefits of your patience, hard work, and commitment! 

Phase 4 (and beyond): Development of Sustainable Habits

This is where you start to be your own coach! As we reach phase 4, you are becoming much more accountable to yourself and have developed a high level of consistency with the habits we’ve worked so hard on.

If we are tracking food, we slowly transition you away from using tracking as a tool (because who wants to do that for the rest of their life?!). We’ve established your NEW foundation that you can continue to build upon as you thrive in this new higher state of well-being.
